What More Do I Need? 2 comments
I guess I’ve talked some about my VW bus that I live out of. I love her. But she is getting a little worse for wear. I’ve been envisioning my next habitable vehicle in my head, wondering why someone else hasn’t designed it yet …
A hybrid or electric camper with solar energy, plus all of the regular goodies that the Westies come with like a cute little kitchen and space to hang out in and a closet or two.
I never graduated from the transporter to the Westie camper. I’m on my second Microbus and both of them were transporters that I gutted and created living space out of. My current one is great to camp in. People wave at me a lot and give me the thumbs up.
Well, someone else, namely Alexandre VERDIER, has been tapping in on my thought processes!
I could just see me driving down to Big Sur in this :)
A Thought About Cars … no comments
Ever since I watched the documentary Who Killed The Electric Car? I can’t help but have it in my head that I do not want to drive a gas powered vehicle ever again. And if I had the cash to switch my VW home over to electric, I would do it today!
Although the other day I had wondered about what would happen to an electric vehicle during and after an EMP (electromeagnetic pulse). Would the car just die? Would it be dead forever? If I was driving it at the time, would I be able to unlock the doors, or roll down the windows to get out? Would I be able to stop the car?
And what happens to an electric vehicle if it goes over a bank and lands in a pond?
