I did a little post on the PUMA on one of my other blogs yesterday and I read a bunch of posts by other bloggers about this new little electric getting around vehicle and the word weird popped up quite a bit.

I thought, how limited. If you label something as weird, it’s hard to think of it otherwise. If you label something weird, then it’s value is diminished. If you label something weird in a public forum you are putting peer pressure on your friends and colleagues to do the same. Labeling something weird means that you can’t see its potential.

So, I say, just stop using words like weird to describe things that could possibly develop into something cool – like do its part to save the planet.
